For the ninth consecutive year, Infinite Luxury and Kata Rocks proudly orchestrated this spectacular event, further solidifying Kata Rocks’ reputation as a global luxury destination. Reflecting on this year’s edition,Richard Pope, founder of Kata Rocks, shared, “This year’s event not only marked the remarkable resurgence of Phuket’s yachting culture post-pandemic, but it also reinforced Kata Rocks’ position as a global luxury epicenter within the yachting community. Our goal extends beyond simply hosting an event; we are committed to crafting an exclusive experience where luxury seamlessly merges with a sense of community. The culmination of the event was our Austin Powers-themed closing party, a vibrant affair that transported our guests back in time. Guests embraced the spirit of the 70s, donning iconic attire and fully immersing themselves in the nostalgia of the era. The evening was further elevated by unforgettable performances from Ekka, who captivated the audience with classic 70s hits in her elegant and dynamic style. Additionally, the comedy duo act brought humor and enjoyment, spicing up the event with lively Austin Powers dancers and a Femme Fatale performance, filling the night with excitement. The party exemplified our commitment to delivering unique and memorable experiences at Kata Rocks.

12th December 2024
The event began with a welcoming reception for arriving yachts at Kata Rocks, where attendees enjoyed complimentary access to the resort’s exceptional facilities. A highlight of the day was the exclusive KR CAT lunch, followed by fine dining at the Kata Rocks Clubhouse, with luxurious superyachts including Dallinghoo, Demarest, Estella, Blue Moon, Kati, and KR CAT moored in the bay. As evening fell, the launch of the KR CAT charter took center stage, offering guests a hosted experience with an array of culinary delights, alongside a BBQ prepared by the Kata Rocks Kitchen Team. The celebrations continued into the night at the KRClubhouse.

13th December 2024
The excitement continued with the iconic KRSR Fleet Cruise, offering participants a scenic journey along the stunning west coast of Phuket. The day featured a luxurious brunch rendezvous hosted by The Beach Phuket at Arinara Beach Resort, followed by a return cruise to Kata Rocks. The evening concluded with an exceptional à la carte dinner, thoughtfully curated by the Kata Rocks Kitchen team.

14th December 2024
The final day of the event saw the much-anticipated Kata Rocks Poker Run, an exhilarating boat rally around Phuket, culminating in a festive BBQ and award ceremony at Kata Rocks. Prizes were awarded for the best poker hands, with the grand prize being a luxurious two-night stay at Kata Rocks. The winners were:

• 1stPlace– Cholamark 2 (Robert & Peter Martin): 2-night stay in a One Bedroom Villa at Kata Rocks
• 2ndPlace–Sunstrider (Tom Charveriat): Sunset Drinks for 4 on the KR Cat
• 3rdPlace– Sabai (Dave Visser): 2 Vouchers for Dinner at Angsana’s Azura Restaurant

The pinnacle of the event was the dazzling KRSR Closing Party, which embraced the ‘Austin Powers’ theme. Guests immersed themselves in the vibrancy of the 70s, donning iconic fashion such as leg warmers, sequins, bold-shouldered gowns, and big hair, all set against a backdrop of lively music and fun. The evening also featured a charity fundraiser benefiting the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation, which provides educational opportunities for children in Thailand. Through a silent auction, the event raised funds to support this noble cause, with Kata Rocks proud to play a part in the fundraising efforts.
