Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous 2023 Overview
The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR) successfully concluded its 2023 event from 7th to 10th December, continuing its reputation as Asia’s leading yachting event. Organized by Infinite Luxury and Kata Rocks for the eighth year, this invitation-only gathering offered luxury experiences, social events, and nautical activities. CEO Richard Pope highlighted the event’s post-pandemic resurgence and its role in promoting Phuket as a global yachting hub. The event ended with an 80s-themed closing party featuring standout performances from Malika and the Junkyard Theatre crew, creating unforgettable moments for attendees.
Event Highlights:
- 7 Dec: Opening reception with the KR CAT charter launch, yacht tours, and a whisky tasting at the KR Clubhouse.
- 8 Dec: KRSR Fleet Cruise with a brunch at “The Beach Phuket” followed by dinner at Kata Rocks.
- 9 Dec: A vibrant 80s Extravaganza closing party with a charity fundraiser supporting the ‘Phuket Has Been Good to Us Foundation’.
- 10 Dec: Kata Rocks Poker Run boat rally concluded with a BBQ and awards ceremony at Kata Rocks.
